Go Mad at Mad Hatters Day!

NU-HOPE Elder Care Services is excited to invite the community to its upcoming MAD HATTERS DAY, a creative fundraiser dedicated to supporting seniors in Highlands and Hardee County. This engaging event will be held on Saturday, September 14th, at the NU-HOPE Thrift Stores in Sebring and Lake Placid.

From 9 a.m. to noon, attendees can purchase a hat for just $1 and use provided materials to personalize their headwear. The event will take place at the following locations:

  • Sebring Thrift Store: 3504 Office Park Rd, Sebring, behind the Dunkin’ Donuts/Arbys parking lot
  • Lake Placid Thrift Store: 103 S. Main Ave, Lake Placid, next door to Main Street Restaurant

MAD HATTERS DAY is an open invitation to people of all ages to come together, express their creativity, and have fun. Whether you’re a student, a fashion enthusiast, a retiree, or a family looking for a budget-friendly activity, this event offers something for everyone.

Participants are encouraged to take photos of their decorated hats and share them on social media with the hashtags #CareWithFlair and #NU-HOPECares. This not only showcases individual creativity but also helps raise awareness about NU-HOPE’s efforts to support seniors.

All proceeds from MAD HATTERS DAY will go directly to NU-HOPE Elder Care Services, funding essential programs for local seniors.
