Through the 2023 NU-HOPE Holiday Baskets for Seniors program, 150 bags overflowing with a variety of nonperishable food, treats, and essential items were gifted to 50 seniors who face significant challenges this year. This incredible program was made possible a generous donation by the Glades Electric Charitable Trust.
The NU-HOPE Holiday Basket for Seniors program is one of our longest-running charitable events, and we deeply appreciate all who have made it possible over the many years. Today, we were joined by McKenzie Miller and Candace North who represented the Glades Electric Charitable Trust (our sponsor).
If you look closely, you will see that a very special gentleman in a red coat ALSO did his best to come and help out with the ‘filling of the bags’. However, he ate one too many cookies this year and was ‘held up’ – lol!
